Daniel graduated BA, LLB from the University of Canterbury in 1998 and he initially practised law in Christchurch before joining a government department in Wellington in late 2001.
Daniel returned to private practice in 2007 and has since developed considerable experience in commercial and property law providing advice to a diverse range of corporates (including small to medium enterprises), public bodies, community groups and private clients.
Daniel's practise includes all aspects of commercial and property law with a growing interest in the rural sector working alongside Partner, Michael Walker.
Prior to his return home to Christchurch in 2013, Daniel was based largely in Wellington but he enjoyed stints in Auckland, Melbourne and Vanuatu.
From 2008 to 2012 Daniel worked for a leading Wellington regional commercial and property firm based in Porirua and was on the Board of the Porirua Chamber of Commerce.
