Christine Eastgate is a partner based in the Kaiapoi office but also attends clients in our Christchurch office. Christine heads our commercial/property team for North Canterbury as well as our family team. 

Christine completed her law degree at Canterbury University in 1991 and worked at Corcoran French as a settlements clerk in 1992 while finishing her Bachelor of Arts and completing bar exams. Christine worked for another North Canterbury law firm and was a partner when she left in 2007 to return to Corcoran French. 

Over her 25 years' experience in North Canterbury she has acted for a number of business and private clients assisting with all areas of general practice including private and commercial conveyancing, trusts, estates, asset planning, relationship property, rural law and business matters.  Christine is an accredited member of the Property Law Section of the New Zealand Law Society.

Christine is also involved with a number of charitable trusts and organisations.  Christine is a trustee of the Waimakariri Arts Trust and involved in the Kaiapoi Arts Exhibition and the South Island German Shepherd League Inc.  

Christine is married to Russell.  In her spare time she enjoys mountain biking and walking as well as retail therapy and travel.
