Reyma originally hails from the Philippines but has called New Zealand home for over 30 years. She completed her legal studies at the University of Canterbury and was admitted to the bar in 2015. Reyma started her legal career in Christchurch before making a move to Hawera, South Taranaki where she practiced for four years. Reyma returned to Christchurch in January 2021 and worked at another law firm before joining us at Corcoran French in May 2023.
As part of our family law team, Reyma deals with various matters including, care of children, family violence, relationship property, paternity, adoption, Oranga Tamariki proceedings, and PPPR proceedings.
Outside of work, Reyma is a real homebody who prefers to settle in for movie or games night with the family.
